Durix(www.photonart.com), a photographic product importer, showcased Lytro Illum, the innovative camera that takes multi-focused pictures in one shot at The 25th Seoul International Photo & Imaging Industry Show(P&I 2015), which runs Apr. 16-19.
With the goal to make cameras that can tell stories with images, the focus of the image can be changed after taking the photo with its special app.
Its special light field CMOS sensor enables taking pictures that can hold information of different focal points. With its 1/1.2″ sensor format, its focal length ranges from 9.5 to 77.8 mm, 30 – 250 mm equivalent when converted to full format. Supporting Wifi, the pictures taken can be sent to destinations without connecting the device with a connector wire.
Since its launch in 1989, P&I made an indispensable contribution to the development of Korea’s photo and imaging industry and culture. It is the first trade show in Korea to be approved by the UFI(Union des Foires Internationales), and has been selected as the “Promising Exhibition” by the Ministry of Trade Industry & Energy(MOTIE) for 14 consecutive years. P&I exhibitors will receive global marketing assistance funded by MOTIE.
This year’s P&I will be filled by the participation of 150 photo & imaging related companies including the world-class photo equipment companies like Canon, Nikon, Saeki P&C, Sony, Snaps, taking up 700 booths showcasing 300 brands.
AVING News will run a media hotspot at the show and run a product-promotion event “Starshot” for exhibitors that submit promotion application.
